Prescott Wing & Rotor (PWR) is an authorized Robinson service center and maintains a fleet of Helicopters for Guidance Aviation - a Part 141 flight school, and Guidance Air Service – part 135 & 133 tour, charter, utility, and fire fighting operations. PWR also provides maintenance service for Yavapai County Sherriff's department, and other private owners and operators.
Primary duties include:
- Scheduled & Unscheduled maintenance in support of flight operations
- Performing 2200 / 12 Year Overhauls on Robinson Helicopters
- Supervision and training of A&P mechanic apprentices
- Facility, support equipment, tool control, & inventory management
- Maintaining aircraft logs & records
USFS UH-1H / 407 carded mechanics may earn additional pay providing relief during the 2024 fire season.
