What we are expecting from you
Proactively identify new opportunities, and major sources of sales revenues, in which existing products or services can be utilized.
Identify applications where our science and technology can realistically be exploited to create new products to realize those potentials.
Effective networking to penetrate deep into the account(s) and broaden the appeal of Parker Chomerics at varying levels of hierarchy.
Establish, organize and participate in technical seminars (Tech Days)
Proactively identify and engage the commercial team in “share gain” initiatives to increase revenues above the current spanet growth rates.
Actively lead and participate in exhibitions
Manage your working time effectively to ensure that the higher potential revenues are prioritized first.
Manage any distributors that are designated as part of your portfolio
Proactively manage in a matrix network organization. You may not have direct reports, but you will still be expected to manage your business by influencing and supporting those at the ground level to achieve your objectives.
Full and correct use of all designated system tools, including Salesforce CRM.
Able to work across the wider corporation, which would include High Performance Teams, Market Platforms and Parker sales Companies
Who we are looking for
English language (written & Oral) is a must, other languages are regarded as an added advantage
An affinity and understanding of Engineered or specialist materials (or similar products)
Able to work within virtual teams and a matrix management organization with the ability to influence/enthuse others.
Able to negotiate and compromise.
Structured and organized.
Customer centric thinking and behaviour
Ideally, you will also have
University Degree (or international equivalent) Advanced Degree preferred
5-8+ years similar experience
Proactive and positive attitude with a will to succeed.
Take ownership, and drive tasks to a full conclusion
Highly motivated with a track record of success and sales development
Able to communicate and articulate complex subject matter effectively.
Able and willing to learn and absorb.
