Tasks
The main tasks of the Manager Sales role include, among others:
- Development and cultivation of sales channels, customer portfolio and customer relations
- Steering of inside and outside sales reps/teams, e.g. allocation of accounts and performance management
- Maximization of earnings and yields in a large and complex spanet (e.g. complex negotiations on high-volume contracts; large volumes of freighter capacity to fill with fluctuating demand; complex portfolio of Joint Venture capacity to spanet)
- Where applicable, sales of JV partner capacities and local liaison with JV partners
- Implementation of communications and advertising measures to promote sales
- Disciplinary management of the inside and outside sales team
* Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

Requirements
Are you ready to step into the role of Manager Sales? check the requirements below:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Bachelors degree desirable
- Min. 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the logistics or airline industry
- Adequate knowledge of LH Cargo’s processes and organization. Alternatively, good knowledge of comparable international airline/ logistics industry structures
- Advanced professional sales know how and skills in the B2B environment
- Sales Management and Leadership preferred
- Fluency in English language required
- Computer literate as user (MS Office)
- Excellent business sense
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem solving
- Excellent ability to work under pressure
- Excellent adaptability
- Manage stress effectively
- Willingness to travel
- Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
