Reports To: Chief Pilot
CHI Aviation is seeking a qualified Instructor Pilot candidate with a passion for providing excellent instruction to new hires, transitions, upgrades and conduct recurrent training. Training will be conducted in the S-61 type helicopter and missions; previous S-61 time preferred but not required. Schedule will be 14 days on and 14 days off (plus travel and training). Salaried positions with additional stipends for traveling to out of base locations.
- S61 Helicopter Type Rating with no Limitations is strongly preferred.
- 1500 Hours Total RW Hours.
- Previous Long Line/Vertical Reference experience, is preferred.
- Current Medical Class.
- Current CFI/CFII certificate or ATP.
- Ability to conduct aircraft ground and flight.
- NVG.
- Instrument instruction given.
- SAR experience, is preferred.
- Ability to work in austere locations.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
