The ideal candidate will have experience in FAR Part 91 and/or Part 135 operations, with a preference for those current in type. Job Summary:
The Challenger 300 Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, providing an outstanding flight experience for our clients. You will oversee all aspects of flight planning, crew management, and adherence to FAA regulations while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and customer service. Candidates must either reside within a one-hour commute of KVNY or be willing to relocate, with relocation assistance considered for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Flight Operations: Command the Challenger 300 in FAR Part 91 and/or Part 135 operations.
- Flight Planning: Conduct pre-flight planning, including route analysis, weather briefing, weight and balance calculations, and fuel planning.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all flights comply with FAA regulations, company policies, and industry safety standards.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to passengers, ensuring a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable flight experience.
- Pre-Flight/Post-Flight Inspections: Perform thorough pre-flight and post-flight aircraft inspections and ensure proper aircraft readiness.
- Coordination: Work closely with flight crew, dispatch, and ground personnel to ensure seamless flight operations.
- Decision-Making: Use sound judgment and airmanship in the decision-making process during all phases of flight.
- Documentation: Complete and submit all necessary flight logs and records in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
