THE WORK
The ideal candidate’s primary responsibilities will be capturing and editing still photographic and video activities in support of various Lockheed Martin products and sites. Photography assignments will include portraits, covering program milestone events, site events, award ceremonies and other activities. Videography duties will include product documentation, events, training, interviews, videos for presentations, social media and moderately complex storytelling projects. Pre-production duties, determination of concept, theme, and budget based on client interface. Must have a detailed working knowledge of non-linear video editing equipment and working within a file-based video environment. Required to have a general knowledge of camera applications, location lighting, and related audio equipment. Experience with live webcast video camera operation a plus. Experience with either Nikon or Canon high megapixel professional still photographic equipment. Applicant will be required to stay abreast of emerging trends with video/photo equipment, editing software and hardware, including lighting and grip equipment. Frequent domestic travel and frequent overtime work is required. Applicant needs to be creative, have effective communication skills (written and oral), and work efficiently with team members and customers. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications:
Strong Conceptual Photographic and Video capabilities, candidate needs to be strong in both aspects of Visual Media. Handling and managing photo/Video editing at a very high level covering artistic requirements our creative team needs to fulfill current spaneting demands.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $55,100 - $105,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $63,500 - $119,500.
