The Training Specialist is a critical role to the Rutland Site’s production readiness Team. This position is tasked with training and development for all areas of GE Aerospace Rutland. The ideal candidates will have the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to develop and deliver training. This role will be essential in building a solid foundation for new hires while creating a great working experience for talent career growth.Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction and on-the-job training
- Partner with Training Leader to establish and sustain a learning cell for new hires and continuing education opportunities
- Responsible for site metrics to include overdue training, refresher training with weekly training reports
- Ensure training plans are accurate and update changes to processes as they occur
- Work with the Training Leader to identify internal and external training programs to address competency gaps
- Lead efforts to improve and standardize on-the-job training
- Track and report on training outcomes
- Partner with internal stakeholders regarding employee training needs
- Actively seek current training methods and best practices to facilitate training employees
- Liaise with subject matter experts regarding instructional design
- Map out training plans for individual roles
- Schedule and conduct meetings with leadership to proactively identify topics to be addressed or areas in need of additional instruction
- Facilitate Train the Trainer instruction to develop new trainers
- Coach trainer or trainees in delivering individual training needs where individuals are struggling
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing)

- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing training and certification programs, preferably in a manufacturing environment. 3.
- Hands-on experience with eLearning development, including use of eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Captivate, or similar), building interactive modules, simulations, and assessments, and working with a Learning Management System (LMS) or similar platform
- Hold a CPTD credential or equivalent training credential or work experience
The salary range for this position is $ 80,000.00 - 100,000.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan. This posting is expected to close on June 25, 2025.
