PURPOSE
Acts as Test Analyst for multiple small to medium projects that have a significant business impact ensuring the solution(s) developed are able to sustain the long-term technical and business requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Advises, implements and manages technical change request processes ensuring all system changes follow agreed policy and comply with audit requirements.
- Overall responsibility for technical set-up of the system liaising with development teams to determine effort feasibility scheduling etc.
- Implements continual process improvement to ensure best practice is maintained and where appropriate implement such processes in the wider development organization
- Using the technical specification creates unit test plans and test cases scripts and documentation and performs actual testing relating to the technical testing
- Mentors and coaches a small group of less experienced Specialists ensuring they have the skills and knowledge in order to perform their roles.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Experience with Java17
- Mandatory knowledge of TestNG, Rest Assured and Playwright
- Experience with Python is a plus
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a QA environment
- Java technologies including experience with current software testing methodologies functional testing integration testing and user acceptance testing
- BA or MA degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering
- Formal project management training desirable
