Job Title: Technical CoordinatorJob Description
As a Technical Coordinator, you will manage and coordinate all work order packages and service orders, ensuring the efficient setup and maintenance of aircraft systems and service orders. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining service order and work order templates, performing aircraft-specific historical research, and managing aircraft status reports for customers. Your role will involve coordinating with the Parts and Materials Coordinator to ensure accuracy in invoicing and performing backup tasks related to warranty claims.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all work order packages and service orders (3 work orders a day, 600 a year).
- Coordinate the setup of aircraft into the system so service orders can be created.
- Perform initial setup of service orders in Navision (System).
- Ensure that inbound aircraft have had an acceptance inspection and amend the work order with noted discrepancies as required.
- Create work order packages.
- Create and maintain service order, work order, and status sheet templates for the AMO.
- Perform aircraft-specific historical research for status reports.
- Manage and coordinate aircraft status reports for customers.
- Coordinate with the Parts and Materials Coordinator to ensure the service order and required information is correct prior to posting so that invoicing is accurate.
- Post service orders and invoices as required.
- Perform the backup role of completing the final stage of submitting warranty claims.
- Ensure that the aircraft maintenance manuals available to the technicians on the shop floor are up to date with the latest temporary revisions inserted.
- Participate in creating departmental standard operating procedures as required.
Skills & Qualiifcations- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in the aviation administrative support field is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with office technology and equipment, including fax machines, printers, copiers, scanners, and computers.
- Proficiency with typical office software such as Microsoft Suite, SmartDraw, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as MS Dynamics.
- Basic math abilities and an understanding of basic financial concepts.
- Experience with accounting tasks such as invoicing, maintenance coordination, and order processing.

Work Environment
Work in an office and on the floor in the hangar. The shift is from 7 am to 3:30 pm, totaling 40-hour weeks.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00
