Resource Management is a central function within an airline and has the overall responsibility for ensuring that all SAS flights are manned. Resource Management consists of about 40 individuals, and the department has five units. Three optimization units, one unit responsible for crew related data and one responsible for training planning. Each team consist of 5-10 employees and team leader.
As a Training Planner you will take part in the planning of our airlines crew’s training, you will create and follow up on our training plans and keep a constant dialog with the training departments of our airlines. The work is performed in several of our systems, and especially in our Crew Management System from Jeppesen. Communication is key and you will be in dialog with internal and external stakeholders for you to be able to optimize the training through the whole planning chain.
You will, together with your great colleagues, work on our processes and procedures to be able to continuously improve the training planning, to keep flight safety our main priority as well as to make it even better from crew’s perspective and to improve efficiency by always keeping focus on cost. It is an important process where you will be able to use your experience, creativity and skills and quickly see the result.
