Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking an experienced security professional to serve in a dynamic Senior Principal Industrial Security Analyst position with responsibilities as a CPSO for several dynamic programs, and also as the FSO for our NGMS locations in Northern Virginia. This is a multi-faceted and multi-customer facing security position, responsible for complex programs as it relates to all applicable classified federal, contractual, customer and company requirements. Must be able to interpret and execute security programs for IC and DoD customers, in the SCI and collateral security environments. The candidate will serve as a subject matter expert on security related activities, and must be able to clearly articulate this knowledge.   The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: managing multiple SCIFs supporting fast-paced programs and proposal efforts. Create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers. Receives, creates, reviews, and interprets security classification guidance in the form of DD-254 forms. Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Implements a multi-disciplined security program (access control, personnel security, physical security, and OPSEC).  Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to program activities. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting access for employees and visitors to restricted records and materials. Performs security briefings and maintains a strong security training, education, and awareness program. Investigates security incidents, prepares security incident reports, and identifies recommendations for mitigations and corrective action.

 

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of CPSO and/or Security related experience, or an MS Degree and 6 years of CPSO and/or Security related experience; an additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.

Must possess an active TS/SCI Poly.

Experience with DCID guidance and/or ICD guidance (e.g. ICD 503 and ICD 705).

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Self-starter with minimal supervision.

Current and working knowledge of the Intelligence Community.

FSO experience, including working knowledge of systems of record (e.g. NISS and DISS).

Must be organized and efficient at time management.

Develop and execute program protection strategies for existing programs, developing programs, or new concepts.

Experience supporting classified proposal development and execution.

Ability to display tact, discretion and diplomacy in dealing with all levels of employees.

Conduct risk assessments and analysis; develop mitigation plans and concept of operations to support threat assessments and vulnerability analysis.

Salary Range: $109,900 - $164,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
