The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Physical Security Manager to join the team in Berkeley, MO.
The Physical Security Manager will be supporting our Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) and Enterprise Government Physical Security program team.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage a team of employees performing activities to support the design and construction of secure spaces in the St. Louis/St. Charles area as well as other teammates and locations within the United States
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Develop and execute projects and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals for the group
Implement plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are achieved
Assign authority and responsibilities to employees to execute the plan
Review plan execution, make appropriate adjustments, and resolve issues
Monitor and report appropriate metrics to ensure performance to plan
Provide on-going development feedback
Recognize contributions of individuals and teams to improve employee satisfaction and retain a skilled and motivated workforce
Keep business partners, management, and others informed by communicating project status, conducting and participating in team meetings, and providing presentations
Utilize knowledge of all construction disciplines, including civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering principles
Exercise knowledge of Intelligence Community Directive 705 (ICD 705) standards, Best Practice Guidelines for Architectural Radio Frequency Shielding (Tempest Guidelines), Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM), and construction principles
Participate in physical security surveys and inspections, as requested, to determine if areas meet accepted standards for the safeguarding of life, property, assets and classified information
Provide advice and assistance to stakeholders within the business on physical security standards, especially during project development
Assist in review of alteration, expansion, and new construction documentation to identify security related items that require revision or further clarification to meet applicable standards
Participate in project meetings with Facilities Management, field offices, business leaders and associated construction contractors and vendors
Other duties of similar scope and nature as assigned
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
Ability to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Program (SAP)
10+ years of experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: NISP, SAP and/or SCI
10+ years of experience in personnel security administration, physical security, communications security and/or other programmatic security-related field
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher, or equivalent work or military experience
10+ years of experience managing teams
10+ years of experience communicating with internal and external customers
Experience with program operations or project management. In-depth understanding of Special Access Programs (SAP) administration
Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or other similar certifications

Summary pay range: $131,750 - $178,250
