The Senior IT/OT Analyst plays a key role in supporting Army operations by interfacing with government stakeholders and cross-functional teams, leveraging expertise in IT/OT practices, RMF lifecycle, policy development, and Army-specific IT regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Align IT/OT strategy with organizational goals through collaboration with senior leadership.
- Integrate IT initiatives across IT and OT systems, ensuring consistency with security standards and mission objectives.
- Lead and support IPv6 transition planning and implementation across IT and OT networks.
- Develop secure migration plans for Windows 11 deployment in Control Systems with minimal operational impact, adhering to DoD standards.
- Design and optimize IT/OT strategies to protect infrastructure, applications, and sensitive data.
- Guide stakeholders on implementing Zero Trust principles for secure, resilient operations across IT/OT environments.
- Mentor and support junior analysts and team members to build technical capacity and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required per Federal Law
- Active Secret Clearance is required to start
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
- 10+ years of expereince in IT/OT related roles
- 3+ years of experience in a senior role with CIO-level responsibilities.
- This is a hybrid position and might require travel
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or other relevant certifications are preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Cyber Security or IT-related field
- Certifications that demonstrate firsthand Information technology knowledge specific to the Army and OT environments are highly desirable, including:
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
- Certified SCADA Security Architect (CSSA)
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
- The ideal candidate brings expertise in:
- Zero Trust architecture, Identity, Credential, & Access Management (ICAM) principles
- IPv6 implementation & Windows 11 migration strategies
- NIST 800-53 &Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes tailored to Army and DoD environments.
- The ability to review, analyze, and interpret assessments from teams like Cyber Protection Teams (CPTs) and
- Black Start Exercises (BSEs), and present findings to senior leadership in a clear, actionable format.
- Expertise in securing IT and OT systems, including SCADA, ICS, and industrial control systems
- Voice modernization initiatives
- Policy Development & Regulatory Knowledge
- Demonstrated experience developing and interpreting IT/OT policies, laws, directives, and regulations—especially within government or military settings.
- Skilled in applying regulatory standards to both IT and OT operational environments
