We are seeking a highly motivated Intelligence Analyst II/Deputy PM to support a mission-critical program within the US Intelligence Community (USIC). This position requires experienced analysts capable of producing high-quality tactical and raw intelligence reporting in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have proven analytical and writing skills, familiarity with intelligence processes, and the ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the designated backup to the program manager (PM)/IA III, assuming PM responsibilities during planned or unplanned absences, to include maintaining continuity of operations, supporting contract performance oversight, facilitating communication between government stakeholders and the contractor team, assisting with issue resolution, and ensuring deliverables and reporting requirements are met on schedule.
- Conduct in-depth multi-source intelligence analysis to produce timely, relevant, and actionable raw and tactical intelligence products.
- Review, evaluate, and assess collected intelligence to identify significant trends, threats, or emerging issues in support of operational and strategic objectives.
- Draft, edit, and format intelligence reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with dissemination and classification guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with other intelligence analysts, subject matter experts, and operational personnel in a multi-disciplined team environment.
- Respond to intelligence requirements and Requests for Information (RFIs) as directed by government and program leadership.
- Maintain awareness of intelligence operational priorities, collection capabilities, and reporting protocols.
- Provide briefings and written summaries of findings to leadership and mission partners as required.
- Utilize various classified and unclassified systems and databases to conduct research, analysis, and reporting.
- Ensure intelligence products meet tradecraft and agency standards for analytical rigor, grammar, and structure.
Qualifications
- An active TS/SCI clearance, with ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
- At least three (3) years of intelligence analysis work experience within the USIC writing raw and/or tactical intelligence products.
- Familiarity with intelligence requirements, collection management, and dissemination processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated by a minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a team-based or multi-disciplinary environment.
- Exceptional editorial, grammar, and writing skills, demonstrated by at least two (2) years of experience in copyediting, publishing, or other writing-intensive roles.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with at least five (5) years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in military, law enforcement, or federal government (non-USIC) roles.
- Background in a hard science, technical field, or cybersecurity discipline.
- Experience with certified release authority for the dissemination of classified intelligence products.
- Familiarity with IC tradecraft standards, analytic writing guidelines, and classified research systems.
