We are looking for you to join our team as a Programmer/Analyst based in Des Moines, IA.
What Youll get to Do:
- The Programmer Analyst will develop applications and/or modules using languages such as C++, Visual Basic, Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP), Java, XML, etc.
- Provides patches and upgrades to existing systems.
- May design graphical user interface (GUI) to meet the specific needs of users.
- Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
- May build add-on modules using application programming interface.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with 2 years of experience OR Masters degree with 0 experience OR 6 years experience in lieu of degree.
- Active Secret DoD security clearance
- Experience developing software applications in high level language such as C, C++, Java, Visual Basic, ABAP, etc.
- Experience in all aspects of software programming languages, design, architectures and application development and maintenance
- Experience with DMO related software applications, scheduling tools and environment generator applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline
- Experience gathering customer requirements
- Experience with documenting operating instructions
- Experience with developing software in Agile environment
Salary Range: $68,500 - $102,700
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
