Production Team Member M/F

Job Description:

Safran Electrical Components looks for service-oriented team players with strong interpersonal skills, the right attitude and adaptability to an innovative and evolving environment.
As a vital member of the Production team, this position will involve cross-training across all positions within Manufacturing & Assembly.

Job Responsibilities
•tOperate production machinery
•tPick product from inventory for production line
•tAbility to operate pressure test equipment with strong attention to detail
•tMake adjustments to the product as necessary to ensure product is within
specifications and good workmanship
•tProper housekeeping using 5S initiatives
•tFollow both Safran Production guidelines and Safran Policies & Procedures as
per AS9100 QMS

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:
•\t1-2 years assembly experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of basic hand tools
•\tBlueprint reading with very good attention to detail
•\tGood oral, written and English reading comprehension
•\tStrong measuring skills and basic Math
•\tAbility to work accurately with strong attention to detail
•\tAbility to manage multiple priorities and work within tight deadlines
•\tBe safety conscious and be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
•\tPositive attitude, adaptable and a team player
•\tAvailability for overtime when required
•\tMinimum Grade 12 or Equivalent
•\tCanadian citizen or valid permanent resident card
•\tClear criminal record
•\tA condition of employment will be completing a security assessment to
ensure eligibility under Canada's Controlled Goods Program
