About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced People Advisor to join a growing organisation operating across the UK and Ireland. Based in Devonport, you’ll play a key role in delivering a high-quality, proactive HR service, supporting employees and managers both onsite and remotely.
In this generalist role, you’ll provide trusted advice on all areas of HR and employment relations, helping to ensure a positive, compliant, and people-focused workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities

Provide professional advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.

Manage employee relations cases, including performance, capability, disciplinary, and grievance matters.

Act as the first point of contact for HR queries related to pay, benefits, contracts, and conditions of employment.

Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures, redeployments, redundancies, and TUPE transfers.

Lead on absence management cases, ensuring effective and timely resolutions.

Assist with immigration and right-to-work compliance requirements.

Prepare and support documentation for Employment Tribunals when required.

Conduct exit interviews and use insights to inform continuous improvement.

Provide support on compensation and benefits processes, including data collation for renewals and claims.

Participate in HR projects and site visits across the UK and offshore locations as needed.
About You
Qualifications:
Experience:

Previous experience working in a generalist HR or People Advisor position is required.

Experience in a unionised environment (onshore or offshore) is desirable.

Knowledge of Working Rule Agreements would be advantageous.
