Our Payroll and Accounts team ensures the seamless financial operations that support our critical missions. From managing employee benefits and accurate payroll processing to overseeing budgets and financial compliance, this dynamic role is critical to our success.
Your Role
- Accurate and timely processing of NGA payroll in an organisation of around 850 employees, for both salaried and EBA employees.
- Ensure the administration and processing of salaries and other benefits is compliant with relevant contracts, taxation and other legislative requirements.
- Monitor and analyse payroll costs and resolve payroll related issues, with the aim of improving the efficiency of the process.
- Interpret awards/agreements and contracts in relation to overtime and shift allowances.
- Payroll reporting to meet internal and statutory obligations and providing payroll journals.
About You
- Demonstrated experience working in payroll previously, working with both salaried and EBA employees.
- A strong attention to detail and capability to adhere to strict deadlines.
- Understanding of payroll legislation and processes, with the ability to interpret the relevant awards and legislation.
- Proactive in working towards solutions, with confidence in your capacity to achieve outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders, with a strong customer service focus.
