Tasks In the area of cross-country payroll, we handle special processes and specific groups of people with international tax and social security implications, e.g. expats, impats or employees residing abroad.
- Clarification of complex individual enquiries and special cases in the international payroll environment
- Close cooperation with related departments such as Global Mobility and international interfaces
- Analysis of process deviations and handling of exceptions and complaints
- Initiation, support and implementation of process changes and new payroll processes
- Communicating new or adapted processes to internal stakeholders and clients
- Collaborating on the further development of operational processes together with department heads, process architects and the Quality Management department
- Ensuring and maintaining process documentation as well as creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Independently processing payroll statements

The Competence Centre Payroll & Pension Services, part of Lufthansa Group HR Services, is responsible for bundling, standardising and providing HR services in the areas of payroll accounting and company pension schemes.

Requirements - Commercial training or degree (e.g. business administration, economics); Further training in finance, payroll, tax or social security law is an advantage
- Enjoy working in an international environment
- Several years of experience in payroll accounting, payroll or related areas
- Knowledge of international payroll or process management issues is desirable
- Project/process experience in HR or finance is an advantage
- Experience with SAP HR or comparable payroll systems
- Good knowledge of tax and social security law
- Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
- Analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Strong communication skills and confident manner
