Cathay Pacific is looking for a Payroll Coordinator who will be responsible for accurate and timely payroll checks, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and maintaining strong internal controls. This role also supports payroll reporting, audit and process improvements while collaborating with other team functions.
This is an 18-month fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities
- Verify payroll inputs, including salary adjustments, bonuses, deductions, and statutory contributions.
- Ensure correct tax and statutory deductions, maintaining accurate records for compliance and audits.
- Review and resolve discrepancies in working hours, overtime, and leave balances.
- Prepare payroll reports, support audits, and reconcile payroll-related transactions.
- Ensure adherence to internal payroll policies and participate in risk assessments
- Identify and implement payroll process improvements
- Provide payroll-related support to other team functions
- Manage payroll-related vendor details, invoices, and rejected payments.
- Fully comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including maintenance of necessary accounting and payroll records as per local requirements
- Ensure timely and accurate recordings of revenue, expenses and balance sheet items in the general ledger
Requirements
What you will need
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of payroll processing experience.
- Experience with ADP and SAP is an advantage.
- Experience in weekly payroll cycle
- Strong knowledge of local payroll regulations.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
