What are your contributions to the team?
- Provide support to attorneys in various Labour & Employment law related matters, including legal research, document drafting and file preparation.
- Organize and maintain legal files and analysis or governance tools.
- Participate in the development of tools and training for internal teams, in some cases, provide training.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments in Labour & Employment law and inform the team of relevant changes.
- Manage the receipt of proceedings and the dockets of administrative tribunals.
- Collaborate and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for the legal services offering.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
- You have obtained a diploma in Paralegal Studies.
- You have accumulated at least five (5) years of experience in a similar position in a corporation or a law firm.
- You are fully bilingual (English and French) and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- You work well autonomously and with a team.
- You have good organization skills, are meticulous and possess a high level of initiative and rigor in a dynamic business environment.
- You are familiar with most computer tools usually used in similar functions (e.g. Microsoft Office, including Excel and Power Point, Soquij, CanLII, etc.).
