About This Role
The chosen candidate will be responsible for providing technical Military expertise, predominantly Naval Maritime and littoral environment operational expertise to evaluate standalone and networked naval training devices, as well as the interaction of groups of devices and systems included in a Training Systems Integration (TSI) program.
To meet all the TSI and Verification & Validation (V&V) needs of military programs, the candidate requires considerable experience as military Naval crew, with a clear indication of expertise in various areas, aerospace/ naval systems specialists, and/or instructional spheres.
The role we are offering you:
Carry out verification and validation for synthetic training devices:
Prepare, plan, and execute V&V testing activities.
Create and maintain Training & Mission Test Procedures and associated scenarios and lesson plans.
Provide support to engineering (SW and HW) during all project phases by sharing their specific expertise.
Test simulators to ensure the design, customer, training, and regulatory requirements have been adequately met within budget and schedule constraints.
Support customer acceptance and device qualification by the respective governmental authorities.
Supporting group input to BD with SME knowledge ensuring solutions are aligned with customer requirments and assist with estimates for Bids and Proposals.
Identify and actively participate in the resolution of defects as early as possible during the project execution.
Report test results and provide recommendations to project team to assess project risks.
Participate proactively in V&V continuous improvement.
The individual must have extensive experience as Naval crew with a focus on Bridge responsibilities including, Command & Communication, Navigation, Tactical operations and pilotage.
Preference will be given to those with experience with:
Complex military missions and systems
Tactical naval systems (Radar, EO, EW/ESM)
Naval Instructional background
Maritime Bridge experience
Tactical/Combat experience
Strong technical background, prior exposure to simulation, experience with training needs analysis, crew training experience, Test & Evaluation experience, knowledge of armament, simulator qualification requirements, and associated aircrew/ Naval training/testing/checking credits are desirable and will be used to assess the most suitable candidate.
