Position Summary:
Level Two: Working under minimal supervision, Metal Lab Tech level two performs all levels of metallurgical testing, which includes performing hardness and conductivity testing, full sample preparation, as well as completing all required documentation and paperwork. The tech will also demonstrate an advanced ability to interpret industry specifications related to raw material certifications, as well as calibration and operating hardness testers, conductivity testers, saws, mount polishers and salt spray chambers. Familiar with hardness scales, hydrogen, grain size testing.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
- Perform all levels of testing
- Full sample preparation
Required Skills:
- The ability to read and write English.
- Advanced technical documentation interpretation
- Advanced knowledge of materials and processes
Required Experience:
- At least 2 years of prior experience required
Level of Education:
- GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $30.75 to $38.50 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 96 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company&39;s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
