Job Summary
Flight Coordinator coordinates and assists the Operations Manager(s) to ensure that fueling operations at location are performed in a safe, timely, reliable, and cost-efficient manner. Coordinates overall communication between airline operations and company fueling operations personnel.
The expected pay rate is $22.83/. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays.
Your activities
- Coordinate with airport authorities and internal departments, supervising and managing all activities related to aircraft handling operations.
- Ensure the availability and proper use of ground support equipment required for ramp operations, boarding and deplaning activities, fueling services, and other aircraft support functions.
- Supervise and coordinate the efficient dispatch, arrival, and departure of aircraft operations.
- Act as Civil Aviation Security Coordinator, ensuring compliance with all security measures established for the prevention of unlawful interference acts under the All Cargo International Security Program (ACISP) and Transportation Security Administration regulations.
Your profile
- 1 - 3 years’ experience of fueling operations preferred
- Prior airline experience is desirable.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be computer literate, and either possess or have the ability to learn Sabre and Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Must be able to work in inclement weather
High School Diploma and at least one-year certificate from a university, college or technical school, or six-months to one-year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety, operational, and procedural manuals. Ability to write clear, concise reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of people to include the airline customers, fueling company personnel, and the airport authority.
