MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (Full Time)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance on production machinery, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime. Maintains, services, and conducts minor repairs on buildings and equipment. Performs a variety of semiskilled duties in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, or plastering and Janitorial Services duties. Assists with the installation of new equipment, maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. The technician works closely with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to coordinate maintenance tasks, respond to emergencies, and perform scheduled maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently.
Essential Job Functions
Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment, identifying and addressing potential issues before they escalate.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure minimal downtime in production.
Maintains, services, and conducts minor repairs on buildings and equipment. Performs a variety of semiskilled duties in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, or plastering.
Perform routine and specialized cleaning tasks within manufacturing areas, including production floors, restrooms, break rooms, and offices.
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners) according to safety protocols.
Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment, ensuring proper calibration and operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and inventory of parts and supplies.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks, promoting a culture of safety within the facility.
Work closely with production teams to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure seamless operations.
Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies, providing quick and effective solutions to minimize production disruptions.
Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment, including lubricating, cleaning, and replacing parts as needed.
