Our team is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join them. You will report to the Senior IT Director – Global MRO & ROW and will have an onsite work structure in Miramar, FL.
To be considered for the IT Support Specialist opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related discipline (preferred)
- ITIL Foundation certification (desired)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an IT Service Desk or technical support role (required)
- Experience delivering both 1st and 2nd line IT support in a fast-paced environment (required)
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows OS (7/10/11) and Windows Server environments (2008/2012/2016+)
- Strong knowledge of Office 365, including administration, troubleshooting, and permissions management
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Syteline, IFS, Visual, or Epicor (desired)
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and basic network troubleshooting
- Familiarity with ITIL principles and Service Level Agreements (SLA management)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a customer-first mindset
As an IT Support Specialist, you will:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring prompt resolution of user requests.
- Manage incidents and service requests via the IT Service Management (ITSM) system, maintaining accurate records and timely updates.
- Administer and maintain enterprise systems such as ERP platforms (Syteline, IFS, Epicor), ensuring account access, data integrity, and user permissions.
- Support and maintain core IT infrastructure including servers, storage, and network devices in collaboration with infrastructure teams.
- Administer Active Directory, including user creation, password resets, and group management.
- Perform root cause analysis on recurring technical problems, documenting and implementing solutions to improve system reliability.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to resolve escalated technical issues.
- Maintain and update IT asset records, ensuring compliance with Ontic’s data protection and information security policies.

Salary Range:
- $60,000- $75,000/year, based on experience
