Join Dassault Falcon Jet who is building a state of the art flagship Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility at the Melbourne Orlando International Airport (KMLB) in Melbourne, Florida. Dassault Falcon Jet will serve customers across North and South America and beyond, the complex will accommodate all current Falcon models, (including the new, ultra-long-range Falcon 10X, the largest purpose-built business jet), and will be capable of performing major maintenance and modifications on up to 18 Falcon models.
Dassault Falcon Jet in Melbourne, Florida is seeking a full time Incoming Inspector in 2025 who will be responsible for the inspection of components, materials, and products into the Repair Station Quality System including cosmetic acceptability. Verify parts and components are in compliance to purchase order, repair order, and work order requirements including Certification documents. Maintains quarantine area, brings suspected unapproved parts to the attention of the Quality Assurance Manager, and upon direction of the Materials and Purchasing Manager mutilates scrap material and maintains log per Repair Station Quality Control Manual.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Critical – Accountable to the Material and Purchasing Supervisor
- Critical – Accountable to the Quality Assurance Manager for Repair Station Operations conducted under FAR Part 145
- Critical – Perform shipping/receiving inspections in compliance with company Quality Manuals and Procedures.
- Critical – Perform complete shipping/receiving inspections in compliance with governmental regulatory procedures and specifications.
- Critical – Use electrostatic protection type equipment.
- Critical – Perform inspections of incoming purchased parts and products.
- Be familiar with relative FAA/EASA regulations and requirements.
- Prepare necessary customer and/or company documents.
- Complete and maintain reports and records as required.
- Assist other personnel on specific job assignments as requested by the Materials & Purchasing Manager.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- May perform inspections of outgoing parts and products from DAS.
- May perform as received material Burn testing.
- Work in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and company safety procedures.
- Provide backup support to Material Warehouse personnel, as needed.
- Provide backup support to Tool Room personnel, as needed.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Materials & Purchasing Supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of experience in an aircraft or aeronautical environment.
- Hazardous Shipping Certified.
- Must have working knowledge of Quality Inspection processes and procedures.
- Must possess above average verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must possess well-developed critical thinking, logic, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work from heights or small, enclosed areas for short periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Able to climb, stoop, bend, kneel, and/or work from unleveled surfaces with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must possess computer literacy with the ability to learn new applications.
- Highly motivated individual who can work unsupervised for an extended period.
