Raytheon is seeking a high-performing HR professional to fill an HR Partner role in supporting the Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) strategic business unit (SBU) specifically the Precision Fires & Munitions (PF&M) sub strategic business units (SSBU). In this dynamic and fast-paced role you will partner and collaborate with the LADS HR team and business leaders to understand the business strategies and objectives while applying HR solutions in a proactive manner, consistent with the Human Resources vision and mission. This role will have responsibility for providing support to both domestic and international program areas within specific areas of the sub-strategic business unit (sSBU).
The HR Partner will collaborate with the business on topics including performance management, talent development and acquisition, compensation, and employee relations. Additionally, through partnership with other HR Leaders and HR Partners across the business, this position will provide support in the execution of strategic HR initiatives such as workforce planning, succession planning, annual compensation planning and employee engagement. The ability to execute cross SBU project deliverables, exercise sound judgment and work collaboratively on multiple projects is critical in this role.
Job location is Tucson, AZ and this is an onsite role.
What You Will Do
- Model Raytheon’s core values and serve as a trusted advisor to executive, mid-level and senior leaders and employees
- Model Employee Advocacy and serve as a trusted advisor to all levels of leaders and employees with a focus on maintaining a positive employee relations environment and culture
- Collaborate across HR including Functional HR Partners, other SBU HR Partners, Employee Relations (ER), Organizational Effectiveness (OE), Total Rewards & Talent Development (TD) to achieve business and talent objectives with the Land and Air Defense SBU
- Business Partnership: Engage with the cross functional PF&M team to identify and address business problems using HR tools and strategies. Challenge the status quo and improve business outcomes using established RTX processes (CORE).
- HR Leadership: Establish credibility as a flexible, fair, and forward-thinking HR Partner with influence.
- Organizational Effectiveness: Coach leaders to improve individual and organizational effectiveness.
- Talent: Ensure timely and quality execution of Talent Acquisition and Talent Development needs. Identify and connect emerging leaders with growth and professional development opportunities.
- Compensation: Administer compensation processes, including Annual Compensation Planning, salary analysis for job offers, and out-of-cycle growth promotions and adjustments.
- Communicate and implement proactive talent strategies to include workforce planning, succession planning, knowledge transfer and high-potential development

Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree with minimum 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 8 years of related experience.
- Experience leading HR projects and/or processes
- Experience coaching people leaders through HR business challenges including employee performance, talent development and employee relations
- Experience leading HR related programs such as Compensation, Performance Management, and Succession planning
Qualifications We Prefer
- Strong HR and business acumen with experience driving HR strategic partnerships in influencing business results and how to link HR initiatives to business objectives
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and have demonstrated experience collaborating with multiple HR functional disciplines to develop solutions
- Ability to comprehend complex issues and identify opportunities to add value and deliver effective solutions
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization and handle high levels of confidentiality
- Experience supporting a large-scale, matrix organization of 6,500+ employees as an HRBP
- Experience in handling employee relations issues and partnering with Employee Relations/Labor Relations when necessary
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to include conducting presentations to the business
- Experience with HR business applications and systems, such as Qlik, Workday, and applicant tracking, or similar database and query tools
- Experience leading HR related programs such as Compensation, Performance Management, and Succession planning
- Experience coaching managers regarding employee performance, talent development and / or employee relations
- BA/BS in business, human resources or related area of study MA/MS/MBA

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
