In this pivotal role within the Facilities Management and Real Estate organization, you will hold direct accountability for the technical heartbeat of our Filton and Newport sites, ensuring operational excellence across all workspace infrastructure. You will act as a strategic lead, translating complex regulatory requirements into robust governance frameworks that guarantee full compliance and site resilience. By managing high-value supplier partnerships, you will drive peak performance and meet rigorous financial targets, directly influencing the efficiency of our physical estate. This position offers the unique opportunity to bridge the gap between high-level strategic objectives and day-to-day maintenance delivery in a high-stakes environment. Ultimately, your leadership will ensure that our critical infrastructure remains a stable, high-performing foundation for the organization&39;s broader mission.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAMLeadership and People Development: Engage, develop, and motivate teams within Airbus Values, utilizing HR processes to foster an inclusive, collaborative, and &34;out of silos&34; environment.
Operational Excellence and Maintenance: Define and deliver maintenance strategies (Electrical, Mechanical, Fire, Fabric, Cranes) through the CMMS/CAFM tool, ensuring asset management aligns with property value retention and business continuity.
Financial and Project Management: Oversee operational budgeting, risk management, and the coordination of minor works projects (up to 85K) while delivering cost-saving targets through business transformation.
Statutory Compliance and Safety: Ensure site-wide adherence to Health and Safety tools and manage statutory inspection contracts to guarantee full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Strategic Asset and Sustainability Planning: Deliver a five-year rolling investment plan and FMRE specifications that align with Airbus corporate environmental objectives, specifically regarding energy and water efficiencies.
Supplier and Contract Management: Manage supplier performance through SLAs, KPIs, and robust governance, ensuring cost-effective delivery and the implementation of new technologies.
Stakeholder Engagement and Innovation: Maintain proactive relationships with internal customers to anticipate business needs while driving continuous improvement and innovation through data-driven decisions.
