We embrace a culture of diversity, equality and inclusion.
Embracing this culture is critical to our business success and makes us stronger together.
Our people have different knowledge, experiences, and backgrounds,
but all share a passion for our vision; to become the most loved and trusted airline in Europe”.

Are you our new HR Business Partner?

We are looking for a new HR Business Partner that will support leaders in operational HR matters while strengthening structured people processes and organizational effectiveness. This role combines hands-on support with active contribution to change processes, implementation of core people processes, and workforce planning for future needs. We are looking for a colleague who helps build a more strategic and resilient HR practice by balancing people impact with business priorities and constructively challenging existing ways of working.

What is it like to work at Norwegian:
Norwegian’s vision is to be the most loved and trusted airline in Europe, and our people are key to achieving that goal.

Here, you’ll find a diverse and dynamic workforce united by a shared purpose and passion for connecting people.

No matter your role, you’ll make engaging connections every day. We care for, encourage, and cheer each other on, celebrating new ideas and different ways of doing things.

So, fasten your seatbelt — your next exciting career journey starts here!

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Advise and challenge managers to drive business performance, organizational effectiveness, and people development.
  • Act as a trusted partner to leaders, constructively challenging decisions with focus on people impact and business objectives.
  • Support leaders in day‑to‑day employee relations, ensuring fair, compliant, and balanced case handling.
  • Drive and support organizational change initiatives with structured and compliant processes.
  • Guide managers in applying labor law, collective agreements, internal policies, and HR frameworks consistently.
  • Maintain constructive dialogue with labor unions and employee representatives, including leading local salary negotiations.
  • Facilitate key HR processes such as engagement follow‑up, succession planning, and performance development.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends, advise on root causes, and recommend actions that strengthen organizational performance.

You are our ideal candidate if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related field is required; a Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Human Resources, with several years in a similar broad HR role or HR Business Partner position. Candidates with less experience but strong potential and proven performance in HR roles will also be considered.
  • Good working knowledge of individual and collective labor law, with experience working with labor unions and conducting local salary negotiations
  • Proven experience in organizational change and leading restructuring processes
  • Experience with core HR processes including engagement surveys, succession planning, and performance development
  • Ability to analyse and interpret HR data, generate actionable insights, and use a well-developed business mindset to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions in collaboration with managers
  • Ability to take an objective and holistic perspective, considering organizational, people, and business implications when advising managers and supporting decision-making
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, challenge constructively, and influence at all levels
  • Ability to operate in an operational environment while maintaining a strategic perspective
  • Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English

We can offer:

Joining Norwegian means more than just a competitive salary — it’s about being part of a community that values and rewards your contributions.
