Role SummaryIn this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing facility systems, equipment, and grounds to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance, troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues, conduct routine inspections of fire safety systems and facilities, and coordinate vendor-contracted work. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to take initiative in keeping operations running smoothly. Education and Job Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* A minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience OR 2 years post-secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience.
* Must be capable of developing job knowledge/skills. Preferred Skills
* Experience with using a facility and equipment CMMS (e.g., Faciliworks)
* OSHA, NFPA, EPA, and/or other related education or professional credentials are a plus.
* HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical certifications are a plus. Job Duties/Functions:
* Basic troubleshooting/repairs on Electrical, Plumbing, walls & floors.
* Utilizing ladders and lifts.
* Understanding of applicable health and safety regulations and industrial standards, and practices such as NFPA, DOT, ANSI, OSHA, etc.
* Proficient in computer skills and MS Office.
* Provide Preventive & Reactive maintenance on facilities, equipment, and grounds.
* Limited Preventive & Reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
* Routine Inspections of Fire Safety Systems.
* Routing Inspections of Facility and Grounds.
* Basic Carpentry and maintenance of the facilitys physical structure.
* Coordinating with vendors on contracted work.
