What you’ll be doing:
As an F-35 Contractor Instructor, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the training and readiness of F-35B Lightning squadron pilots. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality ground school training and mission-focused support in the Full Mission Simulator and Deployable Mission Rehearsal Trainer.
- Providing training in line with Lightning Force Headquarters Air Command syllabi.
- Acting as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on allocated technical systems and updating training materials.
- Supporting Lightning squadron Instructor Pilots at the Instructor Operator Station (IOS) console.
- Offering technical and expert advice to adapt and refine training syllabi, mission scenarios, and tactics.
Your skills and experience:
Essential:
- Proven P1 in an operational Fighter Jet (FJ) aircraft
- Pairs Lead qualification
- Professional military experience
Desirable:
- Experience instructing on an Operational Conversion Unit/Fighter Jet Training Squadron
