ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of the SITA GNCC team. The role is an L3/Expert/SME role, responsible for building and deploying the service configuration including operational fault management for SITA SDWAN managed solutions, The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting LAN, WAN and SD-WAN, solutions to resolve our customers technical issues. The candidate will support the customer by acting as the liaison between the customer and other internal teams. The ability to work in a complex networking environment is also preferred.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Responsible for the design, implementation, configuration, and support of SD-WAN Underlay and Overlay.
- Managing and maintaining the operational integrity of the companys security and data networks and will be required to respond to incidents and alerts and provide occasional out-of-hours technical support.
- Precipitating in the planning, deployment and delivery of network-related projects including the elements of global SD-WAN deployment
- Oversee the SD-WAN managed service for customers, ensuring that configurations are optimized.
- Schedule updates for customer services.
- Participate in meetings and reviews with customers, providing reports on the performance and projects.
- Manage customers’ configurations and execute changes or developments in their network or applications.
- Perform troubleshooting and incident management for high-priority issues and ensure that they are resolved within the timeframes set by service level agreements.
- Handle customers’ technical enquiries as well as service-related enquiries.
- Provide insights and recommendations regarding customers’ networks and their optimization.
- Support knowledge sharing and training, both internally and with customer teams.
- Design and Deployment of the SD-WAN Versa (preferred) & Versa and WAN optimization technologies for efficient delivery of the application data across LAN and WAN.
- Articulating the benefits of SITA SD-WAN solution to clients
- Day to Day configuration, management, and operations of firewalls, load balancers, SD-WAN architectures, and WAN automation technologies.
- Providing technical demonstrations and use cases of the system
- Gather information and configure different templates available in Versa SD-WAN, create Device Groups and Devices, and then onboard devices using the main provisioning and onboarding methods.
- Accountable for the technical areas of proposals submitted to SITA customers (Tier 3, Tier 4).
- Build customer service configuration as per customer service request form for SDWAN overlay
- Support the Project Manager and/or Customer Success Specialist with the coordination of the final delivery/migration steps.
- Define, and conduct the service acceptance tests
- Chair the service activation/migration conference and drive network change guideline/migration runbook and provide the service acceptance report.
Qualifications
WHO ARE YOU:
- Minimum Degree in Business Mgmt Computer Science Electronic Engineering or equivalent Telecommunications in country qualification.
- At least 8-10 years of experience in the Information Technology / Telecom Industry.
- Proven track record in producing, communicating, and documenting successful technical customer solutions
- Working Experience on enterprise customers projects: Network Solutions (MPLS & SDWAN)
- Must demonstrate a strong understanding of Firewalls Architecture with hands-on experience.
- Must have strong experience with Complex Routing & Switching Environments
- Will be an addon to have skills in Data Centre, ACI and Access.
- Ability to work independently is critical
- Experience in implementing patches.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong Customer Support and interpersonal skills are required
- Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Computer Technologies
- Change management/ Project Management knowledge along with ITIL knowledge
- Be autonomous and agile in changing environments, with a sense of initiative and proactivity
- Strong communication & Analytical skills
- Quality and process-oriented
- Attention to detail, understanding of process interlocks and dependencies
- Proficiency in English is a must, and knowledge of French/Spanish and/or German is considered an asset

- MPLS IPVPN, SDWAN VERSA (Preferred) / Viptela/Cisco, Network Boost, Riverbed, Z-Scalar, Voice - IP Telephony & security, routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, RIPV2, MPLS, MPLS VPN, VoIP, ISDN DDR, Dial Solutions (PPP/L2F), Switching, DSL, IPSEC, GRE, Tunnelling, Underlay & Overlay protocols. Cat2900 series, Cat3550/3650 series, Cat3750, Cat4500, Cat6500 series, Nexus switches, Wireless LAN.
