Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Electromagnetic Compatibility and radiofrequencies tester (F/M) to join our Test Laboratory based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing and performing electrical and electromagnetism tests. As part of the team you will be involved in our various activities from equipment or components level tests in our laboratory, to tests on integrated systems, and also directly at aircraft level. Those tests can be part of the A/C certification or flight clearance dossier for protection against ElectroMagnetic Hazards (Lightning, HIRF, Non-Interference/EMI), or are linked to Radio-Frequency systems, equipment qualification and R&T projects.

Your challenges : 

• Perform radiated and conducted qualifications test following laboratory test request and laboratory test methods and write associated test report.

• Perform aircraft measurements to check ageing of EMH protection as part of in service assurance plan

• Support the team with the equipment purchase tasks. (material, repairs)

• Ensure a good communication and collaboration with all the stakeholders (e.g. Design Office and other 1V interfaces)

• Opportunity to participate in test campaigns for aircraft certification, troubleshooting and R&T.

Your boarding pass : 

• Degree level in Electronic / Electromagnetism ( mandatory ) or Radiofrequency Knowledge

• Experience with test equipment (spectrum analyser, network analyser, oscilloscope, RF amplifiers, generators, etc) 

• Solid technical background and testing experience 

• Aircraft environment and systems knowledge is a plus

• Team spirit, openness, transparency and hands-on mindset

This position requires being eligible to security, Export Control and Military clearances by the recognized authorities.
