Use your knowledge of electrical and instrumentation skills to help Honeywell PMT deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our facilities and customers. You will work under immediate supervision and alongside some of the worlds most talented technicians, operators, and engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywells next generation of catalyst products by, testing and/or validating equipment. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of the sites commitment to the organization and its customers.
Shift: 6:30am- 3:30pm Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Review drawings and schematics (e.g., P&IDs, one-line diagrams, etc.)
- Perform testing of equipment (requires use of multimeters, calibrators, megohmmeters, infrared temperature gun or thermal camera, and related tools)
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections, verifications, cleaning, and calibrations
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and corrective maintenance including repair/replacement of defective electrical & instrumentation components and related hardware
- Operate industrial mobile equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom/aerial lifts; climb ladders and/or scaffolds; and utilize fall protection equipment as required to complete work tasks
- Prepare & update equipment records, requisition parts/materials for order, and close work orders in SAP
- Maintain work areas (for shop and field work)
- Perform equipment troubleshooting and identify root causes for malfunctions & equipment failures
- Gather information; understand the malfunction; identify which parameters can & will be evaluated; identify source of the problem; make corrections/repairs; verify repairs; determine root cause of failure; document and share lessons learned
- Installation and maintenance of industrial instrumentation and electrical (I&E) equipment such as:
- Common industrial electrical hardware & components:
- Conductors (wire and cable); Conduit (rigid and flexible) and related mounting/support hardware; circuit breakers, fuses, lighting & bulbs, relays, electrical disconnects; tubing connections for instrumentation (e.g., Swagelok compression fittings, push-to-connect fittings, etc.); switches (pressure, limit, proximity, photoelectric, etc.) and timers
- Common instruments:
- Pressure & differential pressure, temperature, flow, and other transmitters (Rosemount, Yokogawa, etc.); Sensors such as thermocouples, PH probes, and fixed gas monitors; Pressure, temperature, differential, and other gauges; Flowmeters and rotameters
- Other components and controls equipment:
- Solenoid valves and control valves; Electrical motors and associated starters (contactors & overloads) in motor control cabinets (MCCs); Electrical heat tracing / tape (e.g., Chromalox, Refrasil, etc.) and electric band heaters; Controllers and analyzers (e.g., PH probe controller/analyzer, O2 sensor analyzer, burner controllers for gas fired equipment, etc.); Backup batteries & uninterruptable power supply (UPS) units
Night and weekend support will be assigned as needed

The annual base salary range for this position is $76,800 - $96,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidates work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Qualified electrical training (trade school, apprenticeship/OTJ, etc.)
- 3+ years of work experience in the field of I&E maintenance or construction
WE VALUE
- High School Diploma or GED
- Instrument/Electrical trade school certifications, IEC/ABC certifications, ISA CCST, and other applicable industry licensures and certifications (e.g., DOL electrical license)
- Experience with CMMS/work order system such as SAP or Maximo
- Ability to lift 35 pounds
- Willingness to work from heights as needed
- Ability to use computers and computer interfaces
- Focus on important information and identify key details
- Clear and concise communications
- Analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts
- Significant relevant experience
- Mechanical / Welding crafts abilities
