LMDS has an opening for a Manufacturing Coordinator 3. This position will be onsite located in our Promontory, Utah facility.

In this position, the person will be responsible for performing cycle counts, compiling, and maintaining records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies stocked in the warehouse and/or items to be returned. Research root causes for count discrepancies. Performs quality checks and supports the distribution team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the integrity of the physical count of the warehouse inventory via cycle counting and other duties assigned.
  • Cycle counts using the A,B,C Classification system, including all pick and reserve slots for discrepancies and product/packaging integrity issues.
  • Performs quality checks around date sensitive, slow-moving, and obsolete items via interaction with Property. Performs recoup function.
  • Research causes of weight variances, receiving/put away/letdown issues, and damaged product in the slots from warehouse moves.
  • Proactively checks First-in First-out (FIFO) items for proper rotation.
  • Verify the put-away and transfer process performed by the warehouse personnel.
  • Initiate and document product transfer from location transfers.
  • Review standard management reports and research causes of inventory shrink.
  • Performs inventory of excess/obsolete materials prior to distribution authorization from the Property office

Basic Qualifications: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing, procurement, quality basics, or engineering flows.
  • Experience with tracking and reporting on production schedules
  • Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Forklift experience or certified forklift operator
  • Knowledge and applicable experience of lean manufacturing principles
  • Strong inventory management skills

This position’s standard work schedule is a 4-10. Example: Mon-Thursday 10hr days.

Salary Range: $47,000 - $78,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
