Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and versatile Customer Experience Assistant to support the Director of Customer Experience in delivering exceptional service and operational excellence. This role combines customer service and administrative duties, requiring experience in aviation, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Reports To: Director of Customer Experience

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Experience Support:

  • Assist in managing daily customer service operations and ensuring exceptional passenger experiences.
  • Handle passenger inquiries, complaints, and special requests in coordination with the customer service team.
  • Monitor service quality and ensure alignment with company standards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with teams during irregular operations (IROPs) to minimize passenger disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, feedback, and resolutions for reporting.

Administrative Support:

  • Act as the primary assistant to the Director of Customer Experience, managing schedules, emails, and communications.
  • Organize and prepare for meetings, including setting agendas and taking detailed minutes.
  • Draft reports, presentations, and other documentation to support departmental goals.
  • Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Experience:

  • At least 2 years in customer service, preferably in the aviation industry.
  • Exposure to training or experience creating training materials is a strong asset.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (certifications in customer service or aviation are a plus).

Availability:

  • Must be flexible to work weekends, public holidays, and extended hours as needed.

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with airline reservation systems is an advantage.

Other:

  • Must be based in Bridgetown, Barbados (BGI)
