Job Description:
Primary Objective of the Position:

Assist in all aspects of arranging corporate travel within Cargojet with a focus on crew travel.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Track non-refundable tickets.
  • Ensure Cargojet travel policies are followed.
  • Book airline tickets, car rentals and hotels for Cargojet Crew, Managers, Executives and Maintenance.
  • Reconcile corporate credit card statements.
  • Manage the MYID travel program.
  • Communicate monthly crew hotel & transportation requirements with all hotel & transportation partners as & when required.
  • Ensure changes affecting hotels, ground transport suppliers or other vendors are sent in a timely manner and recorded for reporting and accounting purposes as & when required.
  • Provide credit card authorizations to ad hoc hotels and/or vendors where third-party billing is required as & when required.
  • Monthly reconciliation of hotel and ground Transport/Taxi invoices.
  • Perform other travel duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years experience as a travel consultant or experience in airline travel services.
  • College diploma in Travel and Tourism and or relative experience.
  • Hands on experience with GDS such as Sabre/Apollo.
  • Full understanding of airline rules and fares.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Must be willing to work evenings and extended hours, if required.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and perform well under multiple deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
