Night Shift Powerhouse Wanted: Crane Operator – Build the Backbone of ProductionPDS Tech is hiring an experienced Crane Operator to support Line Tubing operations on 2nd Shift. Pay & Schedule
2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay: $16–$20 per hour, based on experience; paid weekly
Overtime: Frequent and available
Key Responsibilities
Operate overhead cranes to support metalworking machinery including lathes, drills, grinders, presses, and welding equipment.
Monitor crane operations and production processes, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality, safety, and efficiency.
Load and unload raw materials and finished products from machinery and designated work areas.
Perform quality checks on finished products and take corrective action to meet company standards.
Assist with assembling metal components using blueprints or work instructions.
Complete finishing tasks such as grinding, polishing, or painting as required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel to meet production goals.
Follow all safety protocols and properly wear required PPE (hard hat, steel-toe boots/shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection).
Promptly report safety hazards or concerns to appropriate personnel.
What You Bring
High school diploma or GED
Previous experience operating overhead or industrial cranes in a manufacturing or production environment
Working knowledge of rigging, load handling, and material movement
Ability to read basic work instructions, production schedules, and safety guidelines
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team setting
Strong commitment to workplace safety and PPE compliance
Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred)
Physical & Work Environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (with assistance or mechanical aid as needed)
Stand and walk for 8–12 hour shifts
Frequent bending, reaching, and climbing ladders or platforms
Comfortable working in loud, industrial environments with exposure to heat, dust, and vibration
Ability to maintain focus and safely perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift

Pay Details: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour
