AIR INUIT - COMPANY PROFILE

Air Inuit has been providing essential scheduled, charter, cargo, and emergency air transportation services in Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for over 43 years. Collectively owned by the Inuit of Nunavik, through the Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of 30 aircraft and employs approximately 910 employees in one of the most challenging flight environments.

Air Inuits Management and its team of dedicated employees are committed to the companys mission of providing safe, timely and courteous air service to the people living and doing business in the enchanting region of Nunavik, Northern Quebec.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in the Company’s Safety Management System.
  • Process flight reports and participate in the follow-up of reported problems.
  • Participate in various department projects.
  • Develop procedures, reference documents, and service guides.
  • Draft documents for Flight Attendants.
  • Assist in daily operations monitoring.
  • Attend interviews and assist in the selection process for new employees.
  • Participate in the resolution of problems raised by Flight Attendants.
  • Attend operational and departmental meetings when required.
  • Perform various administrative tasks.
  • Conduct research when required on various cabin safety and training topics.
  • Ensure quality and conformity of goods and services provided by suppliers.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Chief Flight Attendant.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bilingual written and spoken (French/English), Inuktitut (an asset).
  • College diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professional, responsible, and reliable attitude.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and possess a strong sense of initiative.
  • Highly motivated, organized, efficient and punctual.
