Job Summary
The ACAA’s Commercial Programs Internship will provide the student with an opportunity to gain insight into the management of airport concessions, advertising, and strategic partnerships. The intern will engage in hands-on projects supporting the day-to-day management of the Commercial Programs department, as well as supporting the launch of over 15 new airport concessions in conjunction with the opening of a new terminal in fall 2025, enhancing their understanding of airport commercial operations.
Here is how the Commercial Programs Intern will help:
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends related to airport concessions and services, exploring new channels, concepts and opportunities for incremental revenue.
- Ongoing analysis of KPI’s by unit /category / location to understand performance drivers, providing robust insight and creating actions in collaboration with concessionaires to deliver incremental sales.
- Support project management tasks related to the opening of new concessions, including new brand induction, timeline tracking and stakeholder coordination/communication.
- Assist in communication with concessionaires and vendors, ensuring they are updated on project timelines and requirements.
- Collaborate on the identification and delivery of creative tactical opportunities and innovative seasonal marketing activity to drive awareness of offers and grow revenue.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned or required.

Qualifications
Requirements to apply for role of Commercial Programs Intern are:
- Must be enrolled as an undergraduate from an accredited four-year college or university in Business Administration, Marketing, Aviation Management, or a related field. Third-year undergraduates are preferred. Graduate students are also considered.
- Must maintain a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or greater.
