Job Title: CNC ProgrammerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in multi-axis NC programming of aluminum and hard metals. The ideal candidate will have previous lead or supervisory experience and at least 5 years of advanced experience operating CATIA/CAD systems, with a preference for proficiency in CATIA V5.
Responsibilities- Lead the development and provide liaison support for all CNC programming needed for machining, milling, and laser cutting operations.
- Develop and oversee the application of preferred methods and practices for all company programming and verification activities.
- Incorporate a standard approach per material type and machining platform using a standard cutter list with proven cutting parameters to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Provide machine shop support and troubleshooting for all CNC programming.
- Work with Manufacturing for the selection and/or introduction of cutting tools.
- Create and maintain CAM drawings/datasets and setup sheets.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to part machining, including supporting comprehensive Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams for product development, CAM improvements, machine time improvements, and tool cost reduction.
- Assist with 3D modeling of products as needed.
Essential Skills- Minimum 10 years’ experience in multi-axis NC programming of aluminum and hard metals.
- 5 years advanced CATIA/CAD system operating experience, proficiency in CATIA V5 preferred.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Ability to read and understand drawings.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply GD&T and FD&T requirements.
- Experience with Fanuc, Mazak, HAAS controls, and Siemens.
- Knowledge of project management and lean manufacturing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Post-building experience is a plus, with training available for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with IMS is a plus.
- Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
