Job Title: Quality InspectorJob DescriptionAs a Quality Inspector in the Accurus Quality Department, your role is vital to ensuring the integrity of our quality management system and achieving high customer satisfaction. You will conduct inspections on newly received goods, work-in-progress, and perform final inspections of machined aerospace parts and assemblies, ensuring compliance with engineering requirements and work instructions. Additionally, you will document approvals, identify non-conforming parts, and may engage in problem-solving activities to determine re-work needs.
Responsibilities- Determine and utilize appropriate inspection methods and instruments such as micrometers, height gauges, air gauges, radius gauges, calipers, CMM for in-process and final inspections.
- Operate CMM using open set-ups.
- Initiate nonconformance records and manage the disposition of parts not meeting requirements.
- Complete First Article Inspections to AS9102 and company/contractual requirements.
- Strive to improve inspection effectiveness and efficiency by recommending process improvements.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external personnel to identify root causes and address errors.
- Negotiate the resolution of non-conforming parts and necessary re-work or re-inspection.
- Complete other duties as required.
- Ensure regular attendance on-site at the workplace.
Essential Skills- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of experience in inspection for machined parts and/or assemblies.
- Demonstrated accuracy in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents.
- Advanced mathematical skills including the use of fractions and decimal equivalents.
- Experience in reading precision measuring instrumentation.
- Required CMM experience.
- Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Associate degree or similar post-secondary or vocational training in a related field is preferred.
- Aerospace industry experience is preferred.

Work EnvironmentThe role is performed in a manufacturing shop environment where conditions may vary. Employees will be exposed to excessive noise, dust, smoke, fumes, extreme temperatures, and hazardous equipment. Personal protective equipment including hearing protection, eye and hand protection, and safety footwear is required. The shift is Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with overtime as necessary.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
