Client Advocate II

Job Description:

DPP is seeking a Client Advocate for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.

Location: Hybrid in Columbia, SC. Onsite 3 times/week and other days if needed.
Hours: 8:30 am – 5 pm. Some overtime, weekends and off-hours may be required.
Duration: 6 months, contract to hire. W2 position

Position summary:

The Client Advocate II is primarily responsible for supporting internal and external customer business needs
Acting as liaison between clients and the I/S organization, providing business direction to systems and programming areas on work efforts
Monitoring all I/S costs charged to clients to ensure accuracy and cost effectiveness and facilitating communications with the clients regarding costs
Supporting clients through production issues that may be encountered
Candidates should demonstrate flexibility and ease when navigating ambiguous situations.
They should be open to receiving feedback from both peers and direct supervisors

Required technologies:

MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Health Insurance knowledge a plus

Preferred:

Customer/relationship management experience

Minimum required work experience:

5 years of IT-related experience, including experience in client relationship, I/S marketing, and process/product improvement.

About the team:

The team consists of three Client Advocates who collaborate closely to manage various aspects of Information Systems, including Application Development, Project Management, Quality Management, and Estimating.
One goal is to make sure that internal customer requirements are thoroughly understood and properly documented, and that all deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget.
They partner with customers to gather and record business needs, which are converted into High Level Estimates and projects.

Required education/equivalencies:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 9 years without a degree)
