This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit’s Commercial Business Units (“Spirit Commercial”). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing’s three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial’s core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.

Position Responsibilities:
Prepares aircraft structures for shipping by vacuuming, cleaning andremoving foreign object debris (FOD). May also do general cleaningwithin the factory as needed.
- Perform work in an efficient manner as assigned.
- Work independently and make decisions to complete assignments.
- Train other employees in the same job classification.
- Must be able to physically perform work in confined space areas and navigate floor beams.
- Must be able to stand, sit, walk, crawl, squat, bend, climb stairs /steppers to accomplish assigned tasks.
Level B
- Prepare aircraft structures by cleaning and vacuuming with aspecial awareness to remove FOD.
- Perform housekeeping / 6S in shop as needed safety, sorting,simplifying, standardizing, self-discipline and sweeping.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- All applicants must be willing and able to work any shift, including alternative work weeks.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as spanet and business considerations.
Pay: $21.39/hour, with potential to earn up to $35.50/hour in accordance with the terms of the relevant collective bargaining agreement.
