Position Summary:
- The CMM Programmer – Level 2 is an advanced level Quality programmer and is critical within the Quality organization with regard to product flow and quality.
Shift:
- Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Reporting Relationships:
- The CMM Programmer – Level 2 reports directly to the Quality Inspection Supervisor.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Program CMS online or offline from CAD model or drawing
- Create solid CAD model from drawing
- Troubleshoot and prove out new product and/or program
- Make recommendations for and/or create new processes and procedures to improve product quality, product velocity, efficiency, or cost
- Interface with customers and suppliers (both internal and external)
- Train Inspectors and Quality Programmers in CMS operation and programming
- Frequently take on a leadership role with regard to new product development and/or specific projects
- May perform the responsibilities of the CMM Programmer I and/or the Quality Inspector IV positions.
Required Skills:
- Experience and abilities equivalent to that of a Quality Inspector III within the Quality function
- Expert level CAD skills
- Demonstrated expertise and understanding of the CMM programming language (CMM Manager, DMIS, or similar), CMM software and hardware architecture
- Expert level troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrated advanced level computer skills including macro programming and/or software development skills
- Experience in leading, directing, coaching, and guiding other employees
- Strong logic and critical thinking skills
- Self-motivated and goal driven, demonstrating an ability to make daily independent decisions
- Complete high level CMS programming efficiently and effectively, meeting productivity and quality standards
- Concentrate and perform exacting work requiring significant attention to detail
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations and write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals, and make presentations
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical and engineering instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Risk analysis and mitigations skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with employees, internal organizations, vendors, and customers
Required Experience:
- Minimum two (2) years experience in CMS programming
Level of Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent education

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $29.25 to $43.75 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
