Role IntroductionReports To: Banking & Payment Partnerships Manager
This role is part of our Customer Relationship & Retail Department to contribute towards the building of Cathay’s premium lifestyle brand, and support Cathay’s future development through offering robust and diversified revenue streams.
As a Banking & Payment Partnerships Executive, you will be part of the team responsible for the development of Cathay banking and payment partnerships. Reporting to the Global Banking & Payment Partnerships Manager, you will work mainly with internal partners to complete projects and assigned tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Initiate and manage routine processes to fulfil contractual obligations with banking partners, ensuring accurate and timely execution
- Monitor financial performance of banking partners, generating regular, data-driven management reports to inform strategic decisions
- Facilitate core business activities, including coordinating with assigned banking partners, reviewing spaneting materials, and strengthening partnership relationships
- Contribute to the business’s annual budgeting activities using business analytics
- Champion, coordinate or support projects aimed at optimizing, partnerships, business operations and enhancing efficiency
- Collaborate closely with internal departments and units to achieve shared goals and complete assigned tasks effectively
- Support audit reviews and implement remediation plans as needed to ensure compliance and operational integrity
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster effective collaboration
Requirements- Post-secondary qualification in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline
- Minimum three years relevant experience in the field of partnerships, business or product management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges
- Demonstrated business-minded approach with a focus on prioritizing commercial outcomes
- Ability to work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Proficiency in financial analysis, with a solid understanding of key performance metrics
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and relevant business tools or software
- Fluent in written English and Chinese
- Prior experience in loyalty programme or credit card business is highly desirable
