As a successful Specialist of Security Programs & Policy, you will be responsible for the daily oversight and administration of Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and internal security programs. You will ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies and work collaboratively across departments and external organizations.
This role requires a high level of accountability, responsibility, and the ability to work independently while making critical security decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as an advisor to the Director of Security, Intelligence & Technology on aviation security matters
- Manage security incidents and violations, including reporting, tracking, and investigations
- Respond to emergency incidents and security requests, including operating a 24/7 Security Hotline
- Ensure compliance with domestic and international government security regulations
- Administer and maintain security-related procedures in company and regulatory manuals
- Consult with Crew Members on security training, policies, and procedures
- Develop and distribute security information relevant to Crew Members
- Draft responses to Letters of Investigation and other security-related correspondence
- Assist law enforcement agencies with customer-related legal inquiries and documentation
- Attend industry meetings, seminars, and training sessions as needed
- Oversee regulatory programs such as:
- Cockpit Access Security System (CASS)
- Known Crew Member (KCM)
- Criminal History Records Check (CHRC)
- Transportation Vetting Portal (TVP) audits and administration
- Manage TSA-required ID media programs and conduct regular audits
- Investigate and manage station security inspections to ensure compliance
- Administer and revise company security program manuals as needed
Fine Print:
- Four-year college degree, preferably in Aviation or Legal fields preferred
- Proven leadership and project management experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal, written, and executive-level presentation skills
- Experience with FAA Part 121 & 135 regulations (Security/Host Government Security)
- Strong familiarity with DHS, TSA, CBP, and other regulatory agencies
- Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong time and project management skills
- Willingness to travel up to 50
Pay & Perks:
Compensation range $58,000-$60,000 annually. This was established after performing market research and is aligned with our approach to compensation. Most qualified Candidates will receive an offer near the starting point of our compensation range.
