ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

OptiFlight is a cutting-edge solution that helps commercial airlines optimize fuel efficiency: powered by machine learning models, our technology enables airlines to reduce fuel consumption, lower CO₂ emissions, and improve operational efficiency.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Partner with Product Managers and/or stakeholders to develop and refine the product roadmap
- Collaborate with the Technical Lead to translate high-level business requirements into detailed user stories, suitable for sprint execution by the development teams.
- Develop clear and detailed product specifications, ensuring the development team fully understands requirements before implementation.
- Gather necessary resources—such as wireframes, designs, assets, and documentation—from stakeholders and deliver these alongside technical specifications.
- Maintain the Product Backlog, regularly updating it to reflect ongoing priorities and any new insights.
- Assess the value of each feature and prioritize stories and epics to align with product strategy and maximize value.
- Inspire and energize the development team to create innovative and valuable solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency.
- Ensure the team has a sufficient backlog of well-prepared tasks to maintain smooth progress.
- Act as a product ambassador internally, handling all product-related inquiries.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or Digital Project Manager in Agile or Lean environments.
- Familiarity with working in complex technology settings involving multiple teams, dependencies, and cross-team collaboration.
- Excellent ability to convey complex information simply and clearly to a variety of stakeholders, ensuring alignment and shared understanding.
- A strong team player and promote our culture of feedback and openness.
- A role model of agile working and innovation.
- Communication enabler and fluent in English.
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and staying current with industry trends.
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- CSPO or PSPO certification.
- Familiarity with UX Design
- Speaking French is a plus, but don’t let that spook you.
