Job Description

Incumbent is responsible for maintaining accounts receivable balances as close to 0 as possible.

Responsibilities

• Validate that all invoicing has indeed been paid (tours operator, GSA, GDS agencies, WEB sales);
• Ensure that all terms and conditions of the tours operator / GSA / GDS agency contract are respected;
• Reconciliations of accounts receivable balances by customer ;
• Proper application of payments received ;
• Analyze accounts receivable balances accurately - identify discrepancies - direct and follow up on necessary adjustment requests to the identified area ;
• Follow-up and validate the GDS distribution channel fare control
• Perform various accounting tasks related to accounts receivable.

Qualifications

• DEC or equivalent formation in accounting;
• Three (3) years experience in accounts receivable or related field;
• Knowledge SAP system preferable;
• Knowledge of the "GDS" world and IATA rules prioritized in the choice of the candidate;
• Oral and written fluency in French and English *
• Autonomy and resourcefulness;
• Team player and ability to support other functions within the department;
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office suite;
• Communication ability and good organizational skills;
• Rigour, versatility, methodical;
• Capacity to work under pressure and to respect deadlines.

*A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.
